研究方向:

1)立足全球生物多样性热点区域,开展生物多样性调查,新物种、新分类群的发现,针对区域分布的植物类群开展系统分类与生物地理研究,探讨类群的起源与演化,解析生物多样性空间格局形成的历史过程,在大的时间与空间尺度上揭示森林群落对全球变化的响应,为制定有效的保护策略提供重要的理论依据; 2)以系统发育为基础,利用DNA条形码与新一代测序技术,将进化思想与生物多样性保护的现实需求相结合,把物种进化历史纳入区域生物多样性保护实践中,从进化的维度进一步拓展完善区域生物多样性的评估体系,用进化的思维探索区域生物多样性保护更为科学合理的有效途径。
