中国科学院西双版纳热带植物园第二届博士后学术论坛的通知----中国科学院西双版纳热带植物园

中国科学院西双版纳热带植物园（以下简称“版纳植物园”）是隶属于中国科学院的综合性研究机构。“十四五”期间，植物园以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，按照中国科学院“四个率先”和“两加快一努力”要求，立足中国热带，面向东南亚国家，辐射全球热带区域，以森林生态学、资源植物学和保护生物学为主要研究方向，推动科学研究、物种保存和科普教育协同发展。

版纳植物园生物学博士后科研流动站于2003年10月经国家人事部批准设立，生态学省级博士后科研流动站于2022年11月经云南省人力资源和社会保障厅批准设立，可招收包括国家博士后、省级博士后、师资博士后、项目博士后、联合招收博士后等多种类型博士后研究人员。流动站招收管理坚持“公开、平等、竞争、择优”的原则，依托完备的研究平台和优秀的合作导师队伍，注重提升培养质量，为博士后研究人员的科研和生活提供充足的保障和支撑。博士后研究人员的培养工作取得明显成效，一批在站博士后研究人员获得国家自然科学基金、博士后创新人才支持计划、博士后国际交流计划、中国博士后科学基金、中国科协“青年人才托举工程”、中国科学院特别研究助理资助项目、中国科学院国际人才计划、云南省博士后定向培养资助、云南省博士后科研基金等项目和奖项资助，为版纳植物园、云南省、其他地区培养和输送了一批优秀的出站博士后研究人员。

为吸纳优秀博士来版纳植物园开展博士后研究工作，提高博士后培养质量，更好地为博士后研究人员搭建学术交流平台，发挥和扩大博士后在学科建设方面的作用，特举办版纳植物园第二届博士后学术论坛。

一、论坛内容

论坛采取特邀报告、博士后报告及墙报展示等多种形式开展。

1.特邀报告：邀请国内外相关领域知名专家、学者做专题报告。

2.博士后报告：参会博士后学术报告，交流互动。

3.墙报展示：不做报告的参会博士后做墙报展示。

二、论坛时间

2023年6月29日-30日，正式会议一天（29日全天），30日上午组织交流讨论。

中国科学院西双版纳热带植物园（云南省西双版纳州勐腊县勐仑镇）

四、论坛费用

本次会议不收取会议费，主办方将从报名人员中遴选10位左右优秀博士提供国内差旅费（优先遴选已与版纳植物园合作导师取得联系，拟来园开展博士后研究的优秀博士，要求做会议报告），其余参会人员交通费、住宿费自行承担。

五、其他注意事项

1.住宿：版纳植物园内及勐仑镇均可住宿，参会人员可与会务组联系，会务组将协助预订酒店。

2.交通：参会人员可乘飞机、火车、大巴到西双版纳州景洪市（离植物园约60公里），会务组将安排车辆在机场、火车站、汽车站负责接送。

Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) is one of the most prestigious tropical botanical gardens in China and a modern and international institution committed to provide a quality learning environment for its students and the community. With Yunnan Province as its focal working area, XTBG probes into the impact of human activities and climate change on ecosystem structures and services as well as the endangerment mechanisms of species. Effective conservation, sustainable development and the utilization of biological resources are the primary goals of XTBG. Its scientific research focuses on Forest Ecosystem Ecology, Conservation Biology and Resource Plant Development.

XTBG is home to CAS Key Laboratory of Tropical Forest Ecology, CAS Key Laboratory of Tropical Plant Resources and Sustainable Use, Center for Integrative Conservation, two national field research stations across Yunnan (Xishuangbanna Tropical Rainforest Ecosystem Station and Ailaoshan Station for Forest Ecosystem Studies), Yuanjiang Hot and Dry Valley Observation Station, Public Technology Service Center, Germplasm Bank for Rare and Endangered Plants, Tropical Plant Herbarium, Department of Gardening and Horticulture, Department of Tourism Management, Department of Science Communication and Training, Jingdong Subtropical Botanical Garden, and Preservation and Breeding Base of Crops, etc.

In order to attract outstanding postdoctoral fellows to carry out postdoctoral research work in XTBG, improve the quality of postdoctoral training, and better build an academic exchange platform for postdoctoral fellows, to play and expand the role of postdoctoral fellows in discipline construction, the 2^nd Postdoctoral Academic Forum of Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences will be hold on June 29-30, 2023 in XTBG, Menglun, Yunnan. FORUM CONTENTS

The forum will take various forms including special invited talks, oral presentations, and posters.

1. Special invited talk: The forum will invite well-known experts and scholars from China and overseas to give special invited talks.

2. Postdoctoral Oral Presentation: Postdoctoral fellows or candidates will give oral presentations.

3. Poster: Participants who will not give oral presentations will display their posters.

FEES AND COSTS

1. Registration fee: No registration fee will be charged for this forum.

2. XTBG will select around 10 outstanding doctoral candidates to provide domestic travel expenses. The priority will be given to outstanding doctoral candidates who have already contacted the cooperative supervisor of XTBG and plan to conduct postdoctoral research in XTBG. An oral presentation will be required.

3. Traveling, meals, and accommodation: onsite participants will bear the full cost of their own traveling to and from XTBG and accommodation.

NOTES

1. Accommodation：Accommodation is available in both XTBG and Menglun Town nearby. Participants can contact us and we will be happy to help you with the hotel reservations.

2. Transportation：Participants can take planes, trains, and buses to Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China. The Xishuangbanna International Airport, the Xishuangbanna International Train Station, and The Jinghong Bus Terminal are located in Jinghong city which are about 60 kilometers from XTBG and Menglun Town. XTBG will provide pick up and drop off service from these airport, train station, and bus terminal at the designated time.
