研究方向:

从事植物进化及生物多样性保护相关研究,研究内容包括:1)对珍稀濒危植物类群开展系统分类、遗传多样性评估、资源收集、开发利用等,最终实现濒危物种的有效保护和利用;2)重要植物类群的DNA条形码开发:利用质体和核基因遗传信息对物种进行快速鉴定,为新种发现、非法贸易、市场监管、生物多样性保护等奠定基础;3)辐射演化植物类群的多样性形成与进化:基于自然杂交现象,解析自然杂交在辐射演化植物类群多样性形成中的作用机制。4)热带花卉植物自然杂交资源挖掘与新品种培育。
