创新药物研究组成立于2019年。团队成员由中青年研究人员组成，在读博士和硕士研究生10多人。研究组以西双版纳及周边热带地区丰富的药用植物资源为研究对象，针对天然药物化学学科发展的前沿热点问题和国家生物医药领域重大战略需求，开展抗糖尿病及组织器官纤维化等代谢性重大疾病的天然活性成分研究与创新药物研发工作。

主要研究重点：

（1）抗糖尿病活性成分、作用机制及新药研发工作；

（2）抗组织器官纤维化活性成分、作用机制及新药研发工作；

The Innovative Drug Research Group was set up in 2019. The team members are young and middle-aged researchers，and there are also more than ten PhD and postgraduate students. The aim of the group is to find new natural bioactive components and innovative drugs from medicinal plants in Xishuangbanna and the nearby tropical regions to treat diabetes and fibrosis.

Major research themes：

(1)Bioactive components, mechanisms and innovative drugs research and development of anti-diabetes
